Aishwarya won't show off her baby bump

Here's why she's refused to pose for an international magazine

The news of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's pregnancy (announced by her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan on June 21, 2011) has had all of T'town abuzz ever since. Ash, meanwhile, has cut down on her public appearances. She was in Delhi in early July for a ceremony where she was to be honoured by the French government - an event she cancelled to show her support for the Mumbai blast victims. Recently, Aishwarya and hubby Abhishek were spotted in London where they tried to keep a low profile.

All this time, what everyone's been wondering is if the Bachchan bahu will pose with her baby bump in what seems to be a new T'town trend. Konkona Sen Sharma, Mandira Bedi and Tara Sharma have all appeared in health and movie magazines while they were pregnant. But not Aishwarya. We hear that she was approached by an international magazine to pose showing off her baby bump but flatly refused.

Ash has always been guarded about her personal life, so it's no wonder that she refused the offer. Even when Aishwarya and Abhishek got married, they were approached by several magazines to sell the exclusive right to their wedding pictures but said a firm no. A source close to the Bachchans has also said that Ash would never consider posing showing off her baby bump because she's very particular about their privacy.
